Westside High School Community,

Welcome to Westside High School! It is a tremendous honor to serve as principal of a school and community that have shaped my own leadership journey for many years. Our vision here is clear and unwavering: Seeing the Potential of All Students Realized.

At Westside, we are committed to knowing our students personally, delivering high-impact instruction, and developing exceptional teachers. We maintain high expectations in our classrooms while ensuring that every student feels seen, valued, supported, and challenged.

One of our greatest strengths is our vibrant, diverse community. With students and families representing over 100 countries and speaking more than 45 languages, our halls are filled with a rich tapestry of cultures, perspectives, and experiences. We proudly celebrate this diversity through inclusive events, dynamic student organizations, and daily learning environments that foster a true sense of belonging and mutual respect.

To meet the unique interests and ambitions of our student body, Westside offers robust, career-focused academic opportunities. We are dedicated to ensuring every learner has access to meaningful preparation for college, career, military service, and life beyond graduation. Students can challenge themselves through Advanced Placement (AP) courses, OnRamps, Dual Credit courses, and two distinct Associate Degree pathways. Additionally, they can explore specialized, innovative tracks in Health Sciences, Medical Assistant, Pharmacy, Engineering, paid Business Practicum, Culinary Arts, Computer Science, Debate, Theatre and the Visual and Performing Arts.

We also celebrate a strong tradition of alumni success in athletics, entertainment, business, and public service. The incredible talent and determination of our graduates serve as a daily inspiration to our current students.

Westside’s best days are ahead of us, and I look forward to achieving greatness together.
